As life changes, many women find themselves feeling more isolated or disconnected than they expected. At The Ages of Us, we believe meaningful connections have the power to enrich lives, foster wellbeing, and create a renewed sense of purpose. Through friendship, lifelong learning, volunteer opportunities, and community engagement, we're creating a welcoming community where every woman 50+ can feel seen, valued, connected, and supported.
Our Mission
To improve the quality of life for women 50+ in King County through education, advocacy, outreach, and community connection.
Our Vision
A world where every woman 50+ feels seen, valued, supported, and connected.
As we grow, we will continue to create programs and opportunities that help women 50+ learn, find support and resources, build meaningful relationships, and stay connected to their communities.
Creating a Better Future for Women 50+.

Our Story
Built on Years of Bringing Women Together
The Ages of Us is a new nonprofit, but its roots run much deeper.
For years…
Founder Sue Bollinger brought women together through educational programs, community events, volunteer opportunities, and shared experiences.
Along the way…
Hundreds of events were organized, creating countless opportunities for women to build friendships, discover new interests, and strengthen their communities.
Today…
The Ages of Us continues that journey, creating even more opportunities for women 50+ to learn, connect, find support, and navigate what’s next.
What We Believe
We believe aging isn't something to fear.
It's a season to embrace with curiosity, confidence, connection, and purpose.
We believe these years should be filled with opportunity, purpose, friendship, and continued growth. Whether a woman is newly retired, aging solo, caring for others, seeking new experiences, or simply looking for meaningful connections, she deserves access to information, resources, opportunities, and a community where she belongs.
We believe every woman deserves the opportunity to:
Build meaningful friendships and community connections
Stay active, engaged, informed, and connected
Continue learning, growing, and discovering new possibilities
Find support, purpose, joy, and belonging at every age
Because no woman should navigate life alone.
